Friday Laura and I set out to Missouri and it turned out to be a pretty eventful day. We drove through Jonesboro Illinois were and admiring the beautiful scenery. The gps was taking us down this old country roads we’re you felt like you were back in time. We ran across this old house and church. 
Then these beautiful little country roads got us in trouble. We had to cross the Mississippi and the road was washed out. We had to leave Jonesboro and head to St. Louis, witch was a nice little 60 mile detour. Then if that wasn’t bad enough, we hit one of the worst storms I’ve ever driven through. Laura handled the car like a champ but she was a little freaked out and I can’t blame her. That storm could have crushed our car like a little coke can. Here’s the pics. Looks like a tornado could drop right out of the sky at any time.
Anyone else have any crazy road stories?
Once my mom and I were driving late at night in West Texas when a storm blew in. There was flash flooding and we became stuck on this very small stretch of highway with one other truck. We had to spend the night. Us in our truck and the other guy in his. It was weird.

Wow that looks awesome! Actually i have had a weird road story….Well my cousins and i were on our way to the beach and we were in a big city. All of a sudden this HUGE 18 wheeler crashes into a car while on a bridge, falls off and blows up!! RIGHT BESIDE US!! It was very freaky!

thats is a big storm!!
once my parents and i were on our way back from oklahoma and there was a tornado. we on this country road and the tornado wasnt far then all of a sudden this big light pole fell right in front of us. it took them like 3hrs to finally let us go ahead.i was so scared and bored from justsitting there but my mom got some cool pics i need to find them so people can see.

One Easter weekend I was visiting friends an hour away from home…the weather was getting bad so I figured I should get home before the storm, the weather was super scary, praying the whole way, everyone was pulled over on the shoulder, and when I got to my neighborhood the police had it blocked off ’cause apparently the tornado had just hit so no one was allowed in!
Wow, that was the longest run-on I’ve ever written!

haha im in the middle of a storm right now.. tropical storm eduard.. anyway.. heres a sorata crazy one.. well when hurrican rita came in they evacuated silsbee and my mom drives a bus so she had to take this nursing home to henderson.. luckily we only had to drive the equipment .. it took us 7 hrs to get through kountze!! and i think just like 12 more to get to henderson.. idk.. but we made a pit stop and i walked by the bus withh all the old ppl on it.. woah man it stunk… and then .. we got at the church we were staying at at 2am and i found out that 2 old ppl died on the way there.. and the lady we were sharing a room with had to hold one of the dead old ladys up so everyone wouldnt freak out.. hows that for a crazy story?? lol
